There are approx 110 resorts in Maldives to choose from. The best part is that mostly all of them enjoy a very scenic view due to the natural geographic landscape of the country ands its islands.

The locals are very educated and the literacy rate is almost 98% therefore you can expect a fair and nice experiential visit. Alcohol is only available inside the hotels and resorts.

Since it is near the equator it is relatively warm and the average temperature of Maldives ranges between 23 degrees C to 31 degrees C, and the best season to visit Maldives is between November to April. As the monsoon is also quite heavy due to it proximity to the equator, which runs from May to October. We personally do not suggest the rainy season unless you wish to just stay indoors and do nothing.

Of all there is a sad part, that due to the climatic shift and the sea levels rising, the corals are dying and the islands sinking. Maldives, apart from the amazing coral spread is also home to the ‘Whale Shark’.

Maldives is home to around 21 species of whales and dolphins, 5 species marine turtles. All of this can be enjoyed by means of a boat ride (try the traditional boats called dhows) Maldives, is one of the safest countries in the world.

There are several outdoor adventurous activities available in Maldives such as boarding, free diving, jet skis, kayaking, kite surfing, parasailing, surfing, wakeboarding, water skiing, and underwater scooters.
